1. User Consent
By completing and submitting the forms on this website, the user expressly agrees that their personal data will be automatically processed by ICM-CSIC.
ICM-CSIC notifies that the personal data provided will be shared with the organizers: Federació Catalana d’Activitats Subaquàtiques (FECDAS), Anèl·lides-Serveis Ambientals, Plàncton Diving and Associació Oceánicos. The legitimate reason for these transfers will be the activities organized within the framework of the BioMARató or the performance of academic research.
The data will be retained as long as there is mutual interest for which it was collected, and when this purpose no longer exists, it will be deleted with appropriate security measures to ensure the pseudonymization of the data or its complete destruction.
The user declares that all the information provided is accurate and correct and agrees to notify ICM-CSIC of any changes that may occur in this information.
Some of the information requested by ICM-CSIC is mandatory, as these data are necessary to provide an optimal service to the user. If the user does not provide all this data, ICM-CSIC cannot guarantee that the information and services provided will fully meet their needs. ICM-CSIC notifies users when data is mandatory and/or necessary for the proper functioning of the service.
Furthermore, if users submit personal data about a third party through the forms on this website, they must first obtain the consent of that party and inform them of the content of the previous paragraphs.
ICM-CSIC reserves the right to take photographs and record videos of the events and activities it organizes. By accepting this legal disclaimer when registering for these events, participants expressly provide prior authorization and consent to ICM-CSIC to use any image of the user participating in an event organized by ICM-CSIC to broadcast it on a live information channel, record it on video, or disseminate it openly, in accordance with the right to one’s own image, as established in Article 18 of the Spanish Constitution, and the right to honor, personal and family privacy, and one’s own image, as established in Organic Law 1/1982, of May 5.
However, the user can refuse to be recorded or photographed at any time by notifying ICM-CSIC as outlined in the following legal disclaimer.
2. Security
In accordance with current data protection regulations, ICM-CSIC complies with all provisions of the GDPR regarding the processing of data under its custody, and specifically with the principles described in Article 5 of the GDPR, which ensure that data is processed lawfully, fairly, and in a transparent manner, and that the data processing is limited to what is necessary for the purposes for which it was provided.
ICM-CSIC ensures that it has implemented adequate technical and organizational policies to apply the security measures established by the GDPR to protect the rights and freedoms of users, and has duly notified them of the necessary information to exercise these rights.
